This collection is comprised of approximately 83 centimetres of textual material and ranges in date from 1952 to 1988. There are 141 photographs and 78 negatives.

The records in the Ed Gould collection 88-72 consists mainly of the books written by him and the research material, including photographs, used in the creation of his publications. Other material included is of a more personal nature, including personal calendars and diaries, a few childhood toys and family photographs. Oversize and reel-to-reels material is also included.

The records in the Ed Gould Collection, 95-74, consists of personal and professional correspondence.

The records in the Ed Gould Collection 2000-53 consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings on Canadian entertainers, and one day planner for 1999.

This collection ranges in dates from 1965 – 1991, predominantly from 1990 and 1991. It consists mainly of writing by Ed Gould and contains professional correspondence with his publishers and personal correspondence with friends and family.

The records in the Ed Gould Collection 92-74 consists mainly of correspondence, both professional and personal, publications of interest to Ed Gould and two articles written by Ed Gould.
