The records in the Ed Gould Collection, 93-66, consists of correspondence, both personal and professional, some writing by Ed Gould is also included.

The records in the Ed Gould Collection 94-96 consists mainly of correspondence, both personal and professional, one publication is present.

The records in the Ed Gould Collection 97-41 consists mainly of personal correspondence with his son Jay, correspondence with his editors and publishers as well as one file regarding ‘complaints – everywhere’.

The records in the Ed Gould Collection 99-3 consist predominantly of correspondence (1997-1998); correspondence with his son Jay and others, correspondence with his editors and publishers, day planners as well as one manuscript “Words to Live By (or Die Laughing)” and clippings of interest to Ed Gould pertaining to sports ‘firsts’ and entertainment.

It ranges in date from 1901 to 2014 and contains 5 oversize posters, 30 oversize items in various folders throughout the collection 51 photographs and wire photographs, 16 inkjets and 1 contact print. The papers relate to professional activities carried out by Nick Russell during the years 1988 to 2007and the research and writing of his publication Morals and the Media Ethics in Canadian Journalism, (Second Edition). The newspaper clippings were photocopied for preservation purposes. There are no closures on the material which was deposited in the Archives and Special Collections in September 2014.
